In 2013, FC Bergman, who were described by De Morgen as “a bunch of show-offs”, will be joining the permanent team of Toneelhuis-makers. Toneelhuis is jumping the gun slightly by inviting back 300 el x 50 el x 30 el in 2012, a production FC Bergman made in the space of a month for the 2011 Antwerpse Kleppers festival. The group put a number of prominent guest actors, eighty extras and an entire village on stage. A village gripped by the fear of an imminent flood. What happened inside the houses was shown on a large screen. Theatre and film spectacularly interwoven. An experience, a trip. Now back briefly at the Bourla.
