A village gripped by the fear of an imminent flood. An experience, a trip. Made by FC Bergman.
In January 2013 the FC Bergman collective, “a bunch of show-offs” according to De Morgen, became one of Toneelhuis’ seven permanent theatre-makers. In 2001 FC Bergman made a brilliant production entitled 300 el x 50 el x 30 el for the Antwerpse Kleppers festival and it did so in the space of one month.
With a number of prominent guest actors, eighty extras and an entire village on stage. A village that is gripped by the fear of an imminent flood. What happens inside the houses is shown on a large screen. Theatre and film are spectacularly interwoven. The show was an overnight hit and FC Bergman is keeping it on its repertoire for a while longer.
